Thai On Charles - Melbourne

Thai on Charles is a bit of a secretWhilst it's often humming with people, I've never seen it packedTranslation: you can ALWAYS get a table.

Unfortunately this is one of those Thai places that have dumbed down the spice so far as to make the food bland and uninteresting.

We chose this restaurant over the other Asian restaurant in Seddon as Thai on Charles looked clean and better priced. Our meals were quick to arrive and enjoyable. Nothing outstanding, but still a nice meal.

Great Food. Very reasonable prices. Only problem is can be slow with takeaways.Need to improve in that area. Have ordered in shop & had people sit down & order within minutes of me ordering & they were served first. Its like they have a chef for inhouse & 1 for takeaway

Most Seddon Cafes are closed on a Monday except Thai on Charles so that is where we went looking for a takeaway. We ordered over the phone and received the usual "15 minutes" pick up wait. Food was not yet ready when we arrived for pick up. Cafe itself was quite small but well fitted out and quite cosy. There was just one couple dining in the Cafe. After a 10 minute wait, food arrive. Cost was reasonable and we all enjoyed the food we had ordered. Good basic Thai food.
