It will take a while if there were people waiting because she's the only one working but usually not busy.<br/ <br/ Had the matcha latte and i quite liked it! the chai is pretty strong, and the combination was pretty interesting. the only thing was that it was too sweet, and she did tell me it's using syrup so i wasn't sure if it's possible to have it less sweet.<br/ <br/ Had the dirty soy chai chai with a shot of coffee and it was reaaaally good, i love it. I'm no coffee expert but i just really enjoyed it so would definitely recommend it.<br/ <br/ Overall a cute cafe to chill tho not for big groups<br/ <br/ follow for more! <br/ <br/ xx,joelle.
A beautiful cosy place. We had gone there for a Saturday brunch. It was an altogether different experience. With the lane full of cafes, this one actually come out as little den with minimal yet beautiful decor and to add they have kept lots of books to read. Now, the main part food. We had a vegetarian sandwich and morrocon grilled chicken burger with coffee and mint tea. Everything was prepared fresh, was delicious and even presentation was beautiful.Overall certainly a wonderful experience.
Always nice to visit the little cafe in and around Melbourne. CentrePlace is one of those eclectic narrow and short streets that brings you bang for your buck and for your culinary tastes. I’ve had mostly takeaway from Little Denn but had a sit down coffee this time. The guy serving was lovely and quite friendly and chatty to all his customers. The food looked fabulous so grabbed a wrap also for lunch. The breakfasts being served were sumptuous and next visit I’ll have to put aside time to have the haloumi chips which I hear great reports about. Although seating is limited inside, its cosy and warm and funky. As the rain came down outside it was a little dry haven. Like the crockery and the books and everything about this place. Notes: very suitable for vegans and vegetarians, restaurant isn’t really wheelchair friendly if you want to dine in, kid friendly and takeaway available.
While passing through centre place before a movie, we decided to grab a quick bite to eat. Despite walking past many times before, we had never stepped inside. The name of the restaurant accurately reflects its cozy layout and small wooden tables. The service was efficient, but we found it odd that they tried to upsell us on hash browns for my Eggs Benedict and fries for my cousin's roasted veg sandwich without mentioning the additional cost. Thankfully, we asked and discovered there was indeed an extra charge. My Eggs Benedict was delicious, with perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, and wilted spinach on toasted English muffins. I also ordered a chai with almond milk, which I found to be a bit watery due to the switch to brewed tea leaves. I may return in the future as I enjoyed the food, but I might opt for a coffee or freshly squeezed juice next time.
