The Tandoor - Melbourne

Came to dine and the food and service was amazing. Order fish curry and it was the best Indian curry I’ve eaten yet. The chefs come to check up on you and are very attentive. Highly recommend.

The Tandoor is a cosy little gem tucked away on the popular strip of commercial road. Been my first time to an Indian restaurant I did not know what to expect, so I left the ordering to my friends who ended up ordering a range of dishes on the menu.... The food came out and instantly I could smell those strong spicy aromas, we dished up and wow the food was delicious, rich, flavoursome and down right delicious. You can tell that the chef is passionate about his food after the first bite...The Tandoor has opened my eyes to indian food which is now one of my favourite cusines.... Overall highly recommend the Tandoor

This was the best Indian food I have ever had! I love all kinds of cuisine, but this Indian restaurant exceeded my expectations. We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here with a group of 10 people last Tuesday. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was amazing. The flavors were so rich and delicious. Some crowd favorites were the spinach entree (trust me, it's amazing), the butter chicken, the tender chicken tikka, and the heavenly Naan bread. The prices were very reasonable considering the amount of food we had and the leftovers we took home. I normally don't leave reviews, but this place really stood out to me. I can't wait to go back with my friends. Highly recommended!

"The Indian food at this restaurant is delicious, although the decor is a little outdated. However, the quality of the food makes up for it. The naan, chicken tikka, and eggplant were all excellent. I highly recommend trying this place!"
