Zambrero - Melbourne

Friendly staff with a sense of humor. Got a burrito and 2 quesiddilas. It was nice....however Burrito. Why does the burrito taste like a Indian Curry?As a Indian....I was disturbed by a Mexi Indian curry. India is in Asia an Mexico is in South America. Two different countries

I absolutely love Zambrero, not just for its charitable philosophy but also for its incredibly tasty food. I have been here at least 15 times and the food is always fresh and delicious. I appreciate the option of choosing black rice and a black burrito wrap for a healthier choice, or a burrito bowl for a low-carb option. The nachos and quesadillas are also very good for those looking for something a bit more indulgent. They even have a loyalty card, although I always seem to lose mine.

Not only does this place smell so delicious, they also deliver fresh, tasty Mexican! Granted I only had the nachos there tonight, but that was enough to guarantee me going back there again..and I cant wait! YUMMY :

We had a great dining experience tonight and will definitely return in the future. We tried the IQ chicken burrito, the classic beef bowl, nachos with chicken, and the kids bowl, all of which were delicious. Next time, we won't order the kids meal as the portions are quite small, better suited for children under 3 (if they can eat solid foods). The Port Melbourne location is spacious with plenty of seating, clean, and has a nice airy atmosphere.

I don't understand why this restaurant has received negative reviews. I really enjoy their power burrito bowls and always ask for less rice - they are delicious and the portions are very generous!
