Three people in my group ordered the Manhattan the food was good the portion was a great value but it was not very warm not worth sending back cuz we were all very hungry otherwise everything was fine

Oh my. Awesome food. I had fried chicken, green beans, and German fries. Some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time.

Have only been in the Hornet's Nest when I was a very young. But it had very good food. I went with my Aunt and my cousins for Sat. night dinner. I had their Ten piece shrimp dinner with fries and broccoli. So good shrimp was like like i expected breading flavorful fries were very good. They have everything steaks, seafood, chicken, sandwiches. Very busy. Nice resteraunt outside of the city limits. Vegetarian options: I think they have vegetarian options

Waitress greeted us immediately. Friendly home atmosphere. The breaded tenderloin, mushrooms and strawberry tea was delicious ? love this place!!

My family took me to dinner tonight for an early Mother’s Day dinner at the Hornet’s Nest. We arrived at 6:20 pm for our 6:30 reservation. After about 30 minutes we finally got our drink orders. No one took our dinner orders until at least 7:30 and our dinner finally arrived at our table about 8:30 although not complete nor correct. We did not get to pay our bill and leave until after 9 pm. I don’t know when I have ever had slower service than tonight! To top it all off, the food was mediocre at best. My chicken was over cooked and my sides were cold. I have been going to “the nest” for over 60 years and tonight was a huge disappointment!
