However, the service from the male staff was extremely disappointing. After waiting for 40 minutes without receiving our starter, the waiter was quick to bring us the bill. It wasn't until I expressed my frustration that the service improved. Unfortunately, the garlic bread had no garlic and the fish chips we ordered for our child were replaced with a fish soup. Another employee tried to rectify the situation, but after waiting for almost an hour, there wasn't much that could be done. We were offered ice cream to appease our frustration, but we didn't feel like it, so we were given cream brûlée on the house instead. If the service improves, this place has the potential to thrive, but if not, they may lose their star rating.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view and has very friendly staff. The food is typical Swedish cuisine, so be sure to try the local fish menu. While the prices are on the expensive side, they are reasonable. Don't miss out on the delicious panacotta with local fjäderblom juice.
The restaurant was better before they introduced the buffet. Sitting upstairs was disappointing compared to the lower deck level. Still great though!
Nice place and good. Can be a bit of Bush when the theatre is running and you have to wait for the service.
A view as wonderful as the restaurant. Ate an absolutely fantastic fish soup, and the aiolin was heavenly. My husband ordered ox cheek and was also completely satisfied. Healthy cheesecake and cheesecake afterwards, also a perfect end to the meal. Satisfied, we go home to the hotel next door. Worth paying a bit more for food like this.
