Very limited vegan options, I had some carbon blacked broschetta like bread as an appetizer and a tart as a main, which was basically the only vegan option apart from salad. Looks good, the taste was a little lame. My friend had vegetarian ravioli and the part was ridiculous, super tiny. Wouldn't go back there.
I ate here a few times, but I can't say I'm impressed by the vegan menu. The place is beautiful, the staff is great, but I thought the vegan main dishes were sadly missing. To be honest, the appetizers were not too bad, and the pecan chocolate cake was delicious, but the main dishes I had were not so good and well overpriced. €18.50 for a spoon of lentil and vegetable stew at the bottom of the plate, with 3/4 burned Pittabrot? Granted, it was delicious enough, but really, this price?
Came here twice on my trip. I am vegan and my mother is gluten free, so it can be difficult to get good food for both of us. There are seperate vegan and gluten free menus, with lots of options for either diet, and even some that are both vegan and gluten free. Not cheap, but great food for the money.
Their vegan menu (ask for it is generous the spinach, pumpkin and fennel pie is the tastiest pie I have eaten (including when I used to eat meat.. the pie is moist and delicious, the pastry soft and flavourful. When I go back to Malta will definitely have it again!
