The Pavilion - Melton

Stuck for anywhere better once on the golf course. The food here is very poor but still expensive. The place lacks atmosphere.

We were staying at the Hotel, which is truly excellent but the golf club serves expensive, small portions that have the 'discretionary ' 10% service charge added. Arguably fine to do this at a luxury hotel but not in a golf club bar. The food was average but the service excellent and it was also dog friendly. It served a purpose but we would stick to eating in the even more expensive hotel where the food is a bit better and the prices just slightly higher.

The location, lunch and great service from the staff were amazing.A wonderful variety of food and drinks. Thank- you.

This hotel was one of our favorites but based on our lunch there today there has been a real slump in quality. We ate in the golf club house which used to be a good alternative for lunch if you wanted to take a stroll down from the main house. Poor service, mediocre food, very ordinary. I probably wouldn't have posted this but they couldn't even be bothered to respond to my email.

I had a great lunch at this restaurant. The selection was good, service was excellent, and the staff gave us helpful recommendations on wine choices. We were informed that we were supposed to have a different menu because we were on the spa package, but we enjoyed our meal and didn't inquire about the potential differences.
