We arrived at the restaurant about twenty minutes before closing time and inquired if they were still serving hot food. Despite the menu stating that hot food stopped being served half an hour before closing, we were told that they still had hot food available for another five minutes. The staff made us feel welcome and there was no sense of us being an inconvenience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We are grateful for the warm meal on such a cold day. Thank you.
My daughter and I decided to give this place a try, and we are both glad we did. The food was delicious and the cafe was spotlessly clean. The service was quick and the prices were very reasonable. For just £5.80, you can enjoy bacon, sausage, eggs cooked to your liking, beans or tomatoes, toast, and a cup of tea or coffee. It was fantastic value and everything tasted great. They also have options for vegetarians and a gluten-free menu. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Always a friendly welcome with lovely fresh and well priced food. Highly recommended (and then visit the Fair Trade shop next door! . Shame the lift is not working in the main building though.
We travel to Melton from Leicester every couple of months and have tried various eateries most of which I'd recommend but this has a little bit more going for it with fantastic good especially the breakfast and really friendly staff
