The Royal Oak - Melton Mowbray

My wife and I had a fantastic meal at this restaurant on Friday night. The main courses and desserts were absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were perfect, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere in the pub was very pleasant. The restaurant is also dog-friendly, but we decided to leave our dog at home because I didn't want him to have any of my amazing rump steak! The food was so good that we didn't even need a doggy bag. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is absolutely flawless in every aspect, I cannot speak highly enough of it. The food is outstanding, and I tried the best pie I have ever had without a doubt! They even offer Staropramen lager, which made the experience perfect for me. The service was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable for such excellent quality. I am excited to have the opportunity to work nearby again so that I can return. A well-deserved 10/10 to all who make this gem so incredible.

We stopped by for lunch today and had the most delicious Fish and Chips we've ever had! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and we loved that it was dog-friendly. It's an absolutely beautiful place. It's a gem of a place and the staff are so nice and friendly. We stopped off for a meal and ended up having a lovely 3 course. They had a set 3 course but me and my wife asked if they had Prawn cocktail for starters (as I'm a oldie), it wasn't but nothing was to much trouble for the staff and chefs. The food itself was gorgeous, I had the venison bourguignon, and it was mouth watering. It had an extensive menu, something to suit everyone. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Spotlessly clean. Couldn't fault it. I would highly recommend the Royal Oak, you will not be disappointed, that's for sure.

A couple of weeks ago my husband enjoyed “date night” we had our first kids taxi too… it was a great success. The food here is really good, there’s sufficient and varied choices to suit most. We pushed the boat out to three courses. All were lovely. It’s got a really cosy feel and the service was great. Thanks guys. Sorry we forgot photos of the mains… we were enjoying the Italian Red!
