Vegetarian options: It’s fantastic to see such nutritious and tasty vegan choices available. Wheelchair accessibility: My son has no trouble entering the restaurant. The owner’s kindness and compassion are truly remarkable. This entire establishment is a blessing!

We had a fantastic dining experience with a delicious vegan meal for me and plenty of meat options for my husband. We're visiting from Australia and just arrived in Memphis when I searched for vegan meals nearby and found this place. I highly recommend Bala’s Bistro to anyone in search of flavorful food. I ordered the fish and attieke, specifically requesting grilled fish, but instead received fried fish, or something similar. The fish was quite bland, and the quality of the attieke didn’t seem fresh. They also forgot my cucumber onion relish, and when I returned to ask for it, they handed me just a teaspoon of it—definitely not the same amount I received during my previous visits. I suppose this is what happens when you try to upgrade; I should have stayed where I was before because the food there was much better.

This was my second visit to this restaurant. The first time I went to accommodate a vegan friend, and we tried the Vegan Quesadilla, which was delightful. This time, I ordered the Vegan Quesadilla again, along with the Chicken Quesadilla, yellow rice, and Vegan Curry soup. The staff was very friendly, and I look forward to returning soon to sample something different.
