Barksdale Restaurant - Memphis

Great friendly service, breakfast came fast and good, within 10 minutes from entering I was eating my eggs and Micky Mouse pancakes....

This is a time capsule restaurant. The interior is basically a 1970s feel. Yes it's got the wood paneling. It's the type of place that invokes memories of eating breakfast with your grandparents or parents. It has a comfort vibe. Food is very good. The coffee is not good. I like to call it church coffee. Very watered-down. I recommend bringing a couple of shots of espresso to pour in to your coffee to get the octane up. It is the only problem with the place. All other drinks are good. This place is popular on the weekends. So plan on a possible wait. Breakfast and lunch are the only two meals they serve.

Waitress was wonderful! Fast service, food was great. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Loved it. Great family environment. Felt more like at home than at a restaurant.
