It tasted as if someone had slathered pizza dough with butter and then briefly flambéed it. As for the chocolate cake, it tasted like a dark chocolate M&M that had been left in the sun for too long and then mixed with half of a chocolate cheesecake. When we asked for a refund, the servers appeared quite nervous. Overall, it was a terrible experience—though I should note that the servers themselves were decent.
The 8" BBQ pizza was quite disappointing. It felt more like handling a soggy rag than enjoying a pizza, and the flavor was nonexistent. My wife ordered the ravioli, but the pasta was undercooked and tough. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the terrible pizza experience. It reminded me of having to clean up hardened cat vomit. To top it all off, they accidentally gave our check to another table and handed us their more expensive bill. Fortunately, the other diners noticed the mix-up before we did.
I wasn't in the mood to drive to Amerigo's Italian Restaurant, so while heading to Olive Garden, I noticed Coletta's Italian Restaurant and decided to try it instead. I arrived at the restaurant around 8:05 and had to look for the hostess to be seated. It took about 15 minutes for someone to come and take my order. The food was just okay; I believe I would have had a better dinner at Olive Garden. I don’t plan on returning to Coletta's.
I hate to give a bad review especially with how amazing the service was, but this was literally the worst place I've ever eaten..the building was beautiful, the people were sweet but the food...was a disaster. There wasn't much of any flavor, I'm pretty sure our food came frozen and reheated and all of the marinara was meaty and again flavorless. If you get one thing you've basically had it all. Maybe you'll have better luck with an Alfredo. If you enjoy olive gardenyou may love it though. Many people around us seemed to enjoy themselves but it's definitely NOT authentic Italian.
I don't know what has happened to this location. My pizza was dry, overcooked, and didn't have enough cheese. My wife ordered manicotti and it was flat and looked and tasted like it was 2 days old. That was the worst experience I've had here. The hostess had a weird vibe when the food was picked up. No greeting at all, and seemed very unfriendly. To be clear, all this was a first. I've been here many times, but I'm not so sure about my pizza choices in the future.
