Elena's Taco Shop - Memphis

The service was quick and the food was hot! The salsa was delicious and the carrots were excellent. However, they were out of limes. The corn tortilla on the street tacos was great and they did not get soggy quickly.

Consistently impressive! Families from the city make special trips just to dine at this restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious.

I ordered the burrito combos with shrimp, surf and turf, and all the options were disappointing. The meat was very dry and hard to chew, and the surf and turf burrito only had soggy fried shrimp, tough steak, and dry rice with no pico, salad, guacamole, or sauce. It was a total waste of $50, and even the Mountain Dew was flat. I definitely will not be returning to this restaurant.

This evaluation is based exclusively on the current dining room conditions. they had “the best” authentic Mexican tacos in memphis. the people shaved around their fresh salsa bar. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the area was closed and it was only going through. dez 2021, the local health department has no prohibitions on indoor eating, masks are currently “recommended”, possibly still need some remaining operating changes (sneeze glass, etc. was really on eating there, but not their food in my vehicle. can not enjoy fresh authentic food and salsa bar from a takeout window (in my opinion after)

Passed by here. It's next to Best Western Galleria Inn. Didn't enter. Looks like a large restaurant. With a drive -thru.
