Hi Tone - Memphis

This place features the most amazing art scene in the city, with everything from music to comedy. Plus, they serve delicious pizza! The staff is always incredibly friendly. If you're looking for a great atmosphere that feels authentic and not commercialized, this is the spot to visit.

I was really excited to visit this well-known venue, but the fact that they still allow smoking on the first floor was a major disappointment. After a long trip out of the city for a tour, walking into a smoky room was just unpleasant. On a positive note, Taylor, one of the staff members, was incredibly helpful. Although we are a diverse band, not having a sound engineer on the first floor was also a concern.

The cozy room offers an intimate setting for live music, creating a unique experience that's truly Memphis!

Shiity service, rude staff, bad vibes. can not even spend a h20 after 30 dollars on a beer, cover and pizza. unsafe. on parking lot. do not waste their time in this dirty place. the showers should also consider the employees.

Fugitive Droids, my son's band, held an EP release party at Hi Tone. It's as advertised, an old dive bar. Eclectic seating but seating rare in some venues. Not much in liquor selections but the food was really good. We each had a patty melt with fries. Both top notch. Parking can be challenging as are negotiating the accessibility issues. Bathrooms were clean, unisex, but handled discreetly. Had a good time and that's what mattered.
