If I wanted to eat at the restaurant grisanti, I would have kept up at franks. I was very disappointed, however, that I not only got the meal I wanted to go to birthday, but had to go somewhere. the menu was very lame and they didn't even have a crying list. I expected a lot more.
That was the opening night. the restaurant was not as ready as it should be. I'll try again later. this was the first time I used the reservation online. it worked great. thank you.
That is the second time that I made a reservation for this restaurant on opentable to arrive and see the restaurant closed. all that was on the door was a cheap fast food style hand written sign now closed to lunch and only opened to dinner. if this is the case, they do not leave reservations for Sunday brunch. this place has gone so far in recent years, and I would have been through the subpar overall review now on opentable (a service they can not even manage properly!)
High prices for what they get $125 for 2 people with 1 $7 each. steak $38) ordered medium rare came literally carburized/burned. fish $35) was a lot overboiled and very dry. Three things we demanded were not on camp. kellner was young and inexperienced, we had empty tea glasses for 20 minutes before we could find him to get refilled. new Chef spent 20 30 minutes in the dining room with two tables of older couples that was really all that was there. we are in our 50s and were simply the youngest customers, and it was a Saturday night). very limited supplements. the waiter said they would soon have a new menu, so maybe this will help. I was there several times for lunch, and it is always very good, but will not go to dinner again if they do not make many changes.
We caught them in the transition. To truly review would not be fair. Looking forward to the new MENU and the new wine selections.
