Maciel's Tortas Tacos (midtown)

Extremely friendly staff and short wait times. Love the atmosphere and the food. Refills on horchata? Yes please! Will continue to be a staple in my Cooper Young adventures. Asada Fried Tacos were wonderful and the rice is phenomenal. You can really tell a lot about a place by their chips and salsa, and Maciel's are packed with flavor! Love the crunch of the fresh tortilla chips and the spices in the salsa. So glad I came in and visited!

First time good was absolutely amazing we will be coming back for sure. The spicy chicken was seasoned perfectly. We usually go to Los Comales on Madison. However we wanted to try somewhere we haven?t been. This place is the new spot for Mexican. Great atmosphere and amazing friendly staff. They also have beer and horchata ???? Will be going again

I was craving Mexican food and ordered this based off the google review. PLEASE, do not be fooled like I was!! I ordered shrimp and chicken fajitas and queso. I barely had any meat, it was mostly undercooked veggies and the seasoning was SEVERELY lacking. Chicken was just dry and bland. The queso was decent, but the consistency was weird. Very disappointing, especially considering how much money I spent. I picked through and ate what I could. Over all, I wouldn’t try it again

You have to try the Fried Avocado ? Taco!I do not go there without getting at least 2!!

It’s was GREAT! My Daughter took me there Saturday. I’d never visited before. The Food tasted oh so good. Service, and Atmosphere were both adequate and well. Thanks Maciel’s. I’ll be back!
