We visited this restaurant as a family to celebrate a birthday before heading back home. Each of us ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was fantastic!
Reasons to visit: Owen Brennan's adds a touch of New Orleans charm to Memphis. I absolutely love their crawfish étouffée and redfish. The cocktails are also quite delightful...
I recently discovered this charming restaurant, and the New Orleans cuisine immediately captured my attention. The atmosphere was wonderfully romantic and relaxed, and we were fortunate to get a cozy corner booth, which was ideal. The food was cooked to perfection; the lamb chops were some of the best I've had in quite some time. Everything was served piping hot, and the service was excellent. The only downside was the limited dessert options, but that didn't stop me from giving it five stars. This place is perfect for a date night or a business meeting. Just a heads up, it is on the pricier side, but it’s definitely worth it!
The food was genuinely quite good, although a bit on the expensive side. I dined alone and ended up with a bill of $73, which included a Crown Royal on the rocks, a Caesar salad, half a dozen charbroiled oysters, and a cheesy pasta with shrimp, scallops, and crawfish. I have no complaints about the food—it was delicious and felt worth the price. However, I’ve rated the experience low because they charged me $0.50 for the ice. That was surprising; I’ve never encountered that at a fine dining restaurant before.
