You can actually smell the fresh ingredients as they're being sliced, which is a great sign. The food tastes incredibly fresh, so definitely give it a try and compare it to other Subways. My favorite subs are the cold cut and black ham. The customer service is really friendly; Yasmin made my sub today, and it was delicious! The manager here is very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, with no noisy chatter among employees. I highly recommend this place—100%!
This Subway location on Mendenhall is the cleanest I’ve ever visited. The staff behind the counter operated like a well-oiled machine. Even with social distancing measures in place, the line moved quickly. The manager is also very hands-on.
My experience at this Subway was pretty standard, but there were some downsides. They don't offer soup, are missing some bread options like honey oat, and they've discontinued the daily $5 footlong specials. The exterior of the restaurant could use some cleaning, and I noticed broken glass in the parking lot. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and the customer service was excellent. I usually stop by after work, and today I was hoping for some soup since my stomach was upset. I hadn’t previously asked for it, and of course, this was the one Subway that doesn't serve it! Nonetheless, it’s a decent location overall.
I was drawn in by a coupon text from Subway offering any sandwich for $5.99, but after placing my order, I discovered that this location doesn’t accept any coupons—whether paper, text, or email. After navigating a language barrier to finally get my sandwich, I was very disappointed. The steak barely covered the bread, and the toppings—lettuce, onions, and tomatoes—were not fresh at all. The bread tasted stale, and to make matters worse, the bathroom was a disaster. The paper towel dispenser and garbage can were both broken, and it looked like the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly in ages. I would not recommend this Subway at all! It was a waste of $22.
This restaurant doesn’t accept coupons and doesn't allow phone or mobile orders. Despite Subway offering various coupons and displaying signs everywhere indicating they don't accept them, it's perplexing that all the other Subway locations in Memphis do. When I inquired about it, the staff explained that it's the manager's decision not to accept coupons. This is really disappointing customer service!
