Well I woke Saturday with a string desire for cheesecake. First thing that popped in my mind was cheesecake factory but then I remembered the cheesecake corner and decided today would work to give it a try. I arrived around 4:40p only to find a note saying it would open today at 5p..Fine. that didn 't bother me so I waited. 5p rolled around and the line has started forming (which I was warned). Finally at about 5:15p the owner opened the door. I was 3rd in line and excited since it was my first visit. The 1st customer gave his order as the owner was positioning behind the cheesecakes. Next I know the owner is aggressively telling the customer to hold up. Then he says rudely some other stuff. The customer never changed composure and continued with his order. When I reached the counter I asked about the pineapple cheesecake (which i.heard the first customer order). The owner rudely said what are you talking about . What are you saying . I explained again and then he rudely replied that the guy had bought the last one. I got my order and got out of there probably knowing at that point I wouldn 't be back. I got the praline pound cheesecake and a regular slice with strawberry glaze. I didn 't really like the pound one and the regular one was good but not GREAT as I had heard and expected. My immediate thought was that I should have went to cheesecake factory. Even if the dessert had been the best I ever had I highly doubt I would have gone back anyway. I don 't patron places where my isn 't appreciated even if the vendor looks like me. When I came to work and told my coworkers (one who suggested it) of my experience he was not surprised and stated that he told me of the owners poor customer service. It is sad sad sad that this is a know (and accepted) behavior of this place (as other reviews have documented also). I can 't worry about what others choose to do but as for me, i.may decide one day to give him another try but right now I won 't be back!!!
The Cheesecakes are just ok ! But the owner is very rude and unprofessional. The sign says open at 4:00 but he still let certain customers in (perhaps they are friends) but then he started telling everyone else they close til 6:00pm. Some have said he racist to his own kind but I hope that's not true ! It's just sad that businesses are just not the same anymore especially since Covid . But this guy has always rude, and it's okay I'm sticking to The Cheesecake Factory for sure for now on . This isn't the first time something like this has happened while visiting here ...
A very odd atmosphere. When we went it was later at night, and they had all of the lights off behind the counter. They only let a certain number of people inside at a time and then they let more people in once the line gets small. You aren't supposed to go in on your own. The cheesecakes were like 9.50, and weren't particularly great. They were good enough, but I felt a little disappointed given how much we'd paid for them. The blackberry was the best we tried. The strawberry glazed had a weird chemically taste. If you really want cheesecake it's worth going, but I think I wish I would have tried a different dessert place.
I've gone to this place for years and can never get enough of her cheesecake. the cherry taste is one of my faves. their operating times were limited by covid, but this does not prevent me from supporting the local business.
This device seems to have polarising assessments; mainly due to customer service and purchase prices / hours. I was looking for something sweet to finish my day and went without reading reviews. when I opened the door, I was hesitant to step in, he looked like he was either renovated or suffered from the business. in the front window were the remains of an old clover POS system, boxing sat on almost all tables; the reviews mention that the load looks more like a storage room true. I continued to load in and who I think was the owner came from the back into the register to take my order. our conversation was direct, I asked about the price of a disc and he informed me $8.95 plus sales tax I took a minute to consider the variety of cheesecakes and chose the blueberry top cheesecake. he quickly arranged me and gave me a to-go bag with plastic fork. it was an unexpected experience, but the cheesecake was good if I ever get back in the opposite, I would probably return to try another taste.
