The managers require additional training; it's difficult to lead a team effectively when they themselves are confrontational.
It was open, and I was hungry. The chicken nuggets were fully cooked, and the drink was pleasantly fizzy.
This was the worst Wendy's experience I've ever had. My food and drinks were handed to the car in front of me. I watched as they rummaged through the bag and then passed the food and beverages back through the window. I informed the manager that I didn't want that food, but she took the same items, re-bagged them, and insisted they weren’t the same. I told her I had seen her do it and that it was indeed the same order. She aggressively handed it to me, claiming she was aware of COVID-19 and that she was the manager. Feeling pressured, I took the food, but I didn’t eat or drink anything because I was worried about COVID-19, especially with the high infection rates in Memphis and my low immune system. As a result, I ended up wasting my money. I called the 800 number to file a complaint, but it hasn’t led to any resolution. Now, three days later, nothing has been done to reimburse me for my food or money. Once food is given to the wrong person, it should be discarded and replaced, especially in light of COVID-19. I am very disappointed with Wendy's and do not plan to visit any of their locations again if this is their standard of service.
While I was in line to get my food the manager hand my food and drinks out the window to the car in front of us. Then preceded to get the food back from them. When we got to the window to pickup the food we order we stated that we didn't want the same thing that she gave the people in front of us. Due to the covid-19 we would like to get the items freshly made. And the manager stated that we would not get the same food but she just put the food into another bag and gave us the same food that was handled not only by her and her workers but also the people in front of us the car in front of us). We asked again for them to make it again. They refused to do so. We didn't drink or eat the food because we wanted to be safe. And we would like to get our money back for the food and drinks. They handled the food with out gloves and the manager didn't have a mask on while she was working. Whenever she was handling the fries she didn't pickup the food by the box the side). She picked up them up by the top with her hands touching the top of the food. Been on the phone to customer service center for more then an hour and still not able to get anything done about the service or care we gotten at this Wendy's.
