The pizza was excellent - we especially enjoyed the Siciliana, a delicious pizza topped with a cracked egg in the center. We traveled all the way from Cornwall for the carnival and decided to dine here based on a friend's recommendation. The pizza was definitely worth it.
This Italian restaurant is excellent and traditional. I have had several meals here and have lived in the town from 2009 to 2011, but I always make sure to visit whenever I am back in town. The food, both from the a la carte menu and the specials, is always delicious, especially the fish specials. The pizzas are the best. They also offer quality wines and the service is professional and friendly.
We walked in on a Saturday evening for a table for two. Booking is recommended as we waited an hour to be seated. Staff were friendly and worked hard as it was a busy shift. Food was average. I had a pizza, I felt the tomato base was a little bland but can’t comment on the other items. Enjoyed the pizza base. Would have liked some chilli oil, garlic and oregano. Thanks
Excellent value, huge portions. And authentic traditional home cooked food in a slightly dated but charming restaurant
The staff were kind enough to find us a table for 3 on a busy Saturday night service with a chef down. Excellent family restaurant... well done to all the staff.
