Taco Madre - Mendota

I love Mexican food and love tacos and this is the BEST TACOssss I’ve ever had. This place was a little of a detour for us but it was the best decision we ever made to come here after hiking in Starved Rock. You will not regret coming here!!

Delicious food and super friendly service. We stopped here on our way home from a birthday weekend and it was just what we needed. Highly recommend!!!!

Had these tacos at a party they catered. Fell in love. Found out they were from Mendota. Stopped here for lunch. Ordered my food and went to pay then the girl says oh it's cash only. I said it doesn't say that anywhere she didn't even point to a spot. Had to walk away. Guess I won't ever be back. Never have cash.

GREAT restaurant! Loved the food and the best customer service. The food is carefully assembled together and the taste completes the feeling.

Its a Mexican style restaurant with the normal offerings. The service was good and the food was good. I would stop again.
