Contribuisci feedbackWe went to the restaurant. 50% of us got no food after 3 hours. The other 50% got cold food because the kitchen decided to hold the food back to wait and they still wanted us to pay! Bad experience and service in all our travels for 1.5 months I Argentina.
This restaurant was recommended by numerous locals. Coming from America, I was stolen to see such a large part of Steak with 3 brilliant pages for only 13 US dollars! Language barrier safe, but they were really cool with our lack of culture and speaking... the local language. Had a great experience here and hoped to come back to Mendoza and this restaurant.
A short taxi ride from the city centre to Juan el Justo, this large, pleasant, neighborhood restaurant and parrilla has air-conditioned interior and terrace seating and a wide menu ephasizing steak dishes. Make good beer, service and a decent wine list at reasonable cost...it is a way to consciously (mainly) and budget aliens alike. Here I had some of the best steaks I had in Argentina at a fraction of other prices.
We came a bit later when we knew they were serving leftovers from lunch and just reheat them when you board early. We ordered rare meat and 5 of our 6 pieces were well made. They tried to create a free desert, but the damage was done... The wine was good, Pommes with an egg above and the Koleslaw were good, after a lot of time mainly eating meat, but only 1 good piece of meat for the 2 of us were simply disrespectful.
We came here after being recommended by the owner of a wine bar we were drinking in. It was busy with locals of all ages but we got seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was great and advised us what to have as I initially ordered...a few things and she said the portions were big and we'd be better off with some things she recommended. The food was great when it did arrive and we were pleased we took her advice. We also had a great bottle of wine to go with it and we had it all for what was a good price. It was a great asado restaurant.
