Back A Yard Caribbean American Grill

I often pass by this place without noticing it, so I'm really glad my cousin brought me here tonight. The Caribbean food is delicious and authentic—at least that's what the woman from Grenada said! I'm not sure if the pig chicken comes with rice, beans, salad, and fried plantains, but the meat was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. Overall, it was a great experience. The restaurant is small, with only about 10 tables, so there's not much seating. If the owner set up some outdoor seating, she could accommodate more customers. The ambiance isn't particularly beautiful, but as long as the food is good, that's what really matters to me.

The jerk chicken was lightly spicy, very juicy, and absolutely delightful. However, one half of the chicken was perfectly moist and flavorful, while the other half was a bit drier (though still not bad). I’m not sure if that was a consistency issue or not. Despite that, I will definitely return to enjoy their food again. For the two of us, the total cost was about $16, and we were more than satisfied and full!
