Second, while we wait for us to decide our orders, the owner was impatient, tactical, back and forth, and while he took our orders, he was rude and condensing. And yet, when caucasian customers came, he was friendly and helpful. The complete opposite if you serve us. We greeted him at the entrance and he didn't react. When a caucasian customer arrived, he immediately greeted them and offered them his services. We thank him when he took our orders in which he ignored. When other customers came, he thanked them. To give background, we are Taiwanese Americans. Food: Green Onion Pancake Good, crispy and authentic Sweet Soy Milk Normal, good, nothing special Beijing Style Tofu pudding my father in the hospital enjoyed it and he normally has not much of an appetite Chinese donut not authentic, not crispy, not good Salty Rice Ball my Taiwanese born and raised mother said not authentic and not good. I think it was okay, too salty, but can say I would order it again load, the most disappointing, the steamed pig piles (shown on the picture): cold, no soup in wrapper, shrunk, not good, not authentic. We had made it for my father at Stanford Hospital to eat, and when we opened it in the hospital, about 15 minutes after getting, it was cold. For comparison, the tofu pudding was still hot and undone and simultaneously opened. We stopped ordering from this restaurant again when my father cracked Chinese/Taiwanese food as this restaurant is near the hospital. We would have ordered again with the rude attitude of the owner for my father. However, since many of the foods are not authentic or good and beyond the rudeness of the owner, we decided to throw the take-down menu and never go back. We were polite and not disturbing. I don't know if it's important to mention, but we have tip. But even if we leave the restaurants after we thank you, the owner still did not answer, and we were ignored. He seemed nice to the other customers and some of the food is good, but overall for us this is not a facility we would like to support again.
The spicy food here is okay. Do not order sweet/sour food, especially Beijing Style Sweet and Sour Spareribs, if you expect authentic Chinese food. The meat is not fresh, and the sauce is like the sauce of orange chicken.
I was in the mood for Chinese food, so I ordered from here. The restaurant seems beautiful inside with plenty of seating and a cool fish tank. Just a few gluten-free options on the menu. Ordnete Broccoli Chicken and a side dish. The bigger broccoli pieces were boiled (what I guess is better than boiled). The white rice was perfect. I have some GF soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce on my meal that helped to juj-it-up!
Awesome Sichuan Food!!! Great taste great ambience! Hot and acid soup, spicy cooked shrimps
Absolutely loved every single dish at this restaurant. Very authentic Chinese dishes and flavors. Not so overwhelming if you?re not used to the strong Chinese flavors. We hosted a large event gathering here and they were able to accommodate our group of 40 people. Lots of seating.
