Our server was lovely as well! It's unassuming on the outside, but the food is what I care about most, and that was stellar
Get their value lunch set! I've eaten Food in Singapore, but it doesn't have quite the umami flavor I was looking for. The Hokkien Noodle in this restaurant comes with a small cut lemon which really pulls out the fragrance of the gravy. Note* distinct area serve and cook Hokkien Noodle differently. Horfun in the menu refers to Wat tan hor or (Hua Dan He). Anyway, the portion is decent and the waitress is friendly. Worth a try but of course, you'll need to go to Singapore or Malaysia to try their local food to mesmerize the unique flavor(the umami I was after).
Announces she-oak , this Singapore English or Singlish superlative word means tasty or tasty related to food; satisfying or pleasant, based on an experience. The food was so good and authentic that the restaurant should rename “Damn Shiok” because it deserves to double on the superlatives!
Food is good, they have plenty of options for the vegetarians too. Staff is pleasant and super courteous, the only thing they can do is remodel the ambience but that's fine. Location and the place is perfect to dine in with your families and friends.
The restaurant is quite nice, and the owners are very friendly. While the flavors weren’t overwhelmingly impressive, every dish was enjoyable. We were dining with some vegetarians, so we ordered accordingly, but I imagine the meat dishes could bring a bit more excitement.
