The Great Escape (vfw) - Menomonie

I tried their fish fry, and it was excellent. The portion was generous, and the price was reasonable. The service was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit! It's a classic Wisconsin bar fish fry.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The restaurant is working hard to rebuild its reputation after a few challenging years of poor management. They offer affordable drinks and daily specials, which is a great bonus!

Tonight, we waited for 10 minutes before being attended to. Our server, Bree, didn’t seem to give us much attention and mostly went about her duties without really engaging with us. It felt as though she was just putting on a show of caring.

The staff here are amazing! They truly enhance the overall experience.

I don't usually write reviews, but I was so impressed that I had to share my experience. I ordered a gyros on a Sunday evening, expecting it to be just mediocre, but I was blown away. It was clear that the person who made it truly cared about their craft, as it was one of the best gyros I've ever had. It's fantastic to find such high-quality food at such a great price!
