I placed 2 online orders for custom cakes a few days ago and then was contacted by the manager who proceeded to tell me that my images weren’t approved. I was understanding and came in and worked with a team member to pick out designs that were approved by Dairy Queen. One of the orders was set to be picked up today 11/1/2023 at 3PM. At 3:20 I called the restaurant to see if it was ready since I hadn’t heard from them. They proceeded to tell me they didn’t have any orders under my name. THEN, found my order forms that their employees just placed somewhere they didn’t belong. I was pretty aggravated but the employee on the phone was nice and respectful and told me she could have it ready for me within an hour. Sure it’s not what I wanted but it’s better than nothing I thought! 7PM rolls around and I still heard not a single word about my order. Needless to say I called the corporate number and had them send my complaint to the franchise owner. If you’re planning on getting a cake online I recommend NOT using this DQ because this has been absolutely ridiculous.
I’ve cream was good, order was put together fast amd restaurant was clean. Service was fine.
Employee yelled through car at us, “go home b !” Unprofessional.
This Dairy Queen is really great, I went around 7pm today and let them know my boyfriend has a somewhat bad peanut allergy and the workers were so nice about it and actually made it separate from other orders. They didn’t act inconvenienced by it like a lot of other places do, it was very much appreciated :
Haven't had an issue yet. Always have more than enough toppings in the blizzards and they haven't messed up an order for me yet despite how busy they are. Also it's one of the only DQ that I've seen that still has a putt-putt course, which seems well maintained. Overall very happy with it.
