Lascala's Birra - Merchantville

I really like LaScala? I was in the South Philly location, but the Pennsauken location is better more space and better ambience. The restaurant has a stylish atmosphere. I came at 8 for an outside reservation and sat right away. Our server was very patient and didn't excite us at all. Loved the Birra wing (big taste and spice) and my pizza was also good! My only criticism would be live music. Great musicians, but something too loud to talk. Otherwise very good equipment for the price. I would also recommend wearing good food. Expect most males dressed

I had a fantastic dinner by the river! We opted for outdoor seating, and the weather couldn't have been better. Our server, Natalie, was excellent—she was attentive but also allowed us to savor the delicious food and lovely atmosphere. We kicked off our meal with clams in white sauce, though I wished there was more bread for dipping, as it was really enjoyable. For our main courses, we had the lobster ravioli and shrimp pompei, both of which were incredible. To top it all off, we ordered the birria zeppoli for dessert. Our drinks included a Flying Fish Mango Smoothie and a Blackberry Crush. The food was absolutely amazing, served nice and hot from the kitchen. We can't wait to return!

We dined outside as the weather was perfect for it! Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The portion sizes were awesome considering the fair menu pricing. Cocktails were also delicious.

The location of this restaurant is fabulous! The overall ambience is lovely and the food is delicious. I went with a group of 8. The server was very attentive and the food arrived quickly. I had some Truffle fries,while they were good,hot and crispy with herbs and grated Parmigiano cheese, they lacked the truffle flavor. I also tried their Pepperoni Stromboli, which was fantastic! I'll definitely revisit this location again.

Decent service, mid scale food. This place is priced for what they offer so that's a good thing. Very nice views in the dining room as well as on the patio. Don't go too far out of your way, but not a bad stop for lunch.
