Cafe Royal at Hotel Montejo - Mérida

Actually, I only ate breakfast here if I stay in the hotel. but it's good, and eating breakfast is good. coffee is in order. I never had dinner here, and why would they have chaya maya on the road.

A very small and simple restaurant, which is designed for breakfast for hotel guests. the restaurant takes a single room next to the reception and the hotelhof. therres nothing imaginative about the place, but its clean and served hot Yucatecan food. good enough in one.

The first time here, sat in the courtyard for a softdrink coffee. beautiful location around a fountain beautiful bathroom close. return to lunch, sat in caffe. they had 2 tvs that ignited, but the one that lies closest to us. very limited menu at lunchtime. had beautiful fish dishes and also Lebanese dishes. excellent tabuli, hummus, black olives and some yoghurt sauce that came with crispy pita. I certainly didn't expect pita to be a crisp. instead they brought tortillas that fill out the bill.

I have traveled the yucatan, more than most, not as much as some, I really like this hotel. it's convenient. not fancy, or in some way clumsy. it is located near meridas central square. many great places to eat near, location is great! the staff is very freendly and it is very difficult to meet the needs of the guests. honest the place is also cheap. $600 peso per night. it has a small but beautiful pool and over the whole place is very clean. what do you need? safe, clean, great location, inexpensive. this is my 7th trip to merida and 5th time in the hotel montejo. never a contempt!

Aunque hay platillos gama media, a veces si se cobra un poco mas de lo que pagarías en otro sitio de mas presentación. No obstante es muy tranquilo para platicar,nunca esta´lleno, y eso se agradece cuando uno quiere comer bien, platicar sin alzar la voz y estas en pleno centro de la ciudad. Anexo esta el hotel, muy viejito pero cómodo, sin grandes expectativas.
