Poncho & Chel's - Mérida

Great place to eat good, fun and go A/C. many restaurants have no A/C and pocho’s is beautiful and cold. the atmosphere was a fun but relaxing place to go with friends, have some high quality dinners and good drinks. our waiter spoke very well. English too.

Visited mercado 60 and decided to try eating here. I've been eating three and they're trying. everything was excellent. my favorite was the empanadas. they are filled with cheese and spinach. served with a diving sauce that seemed to be a strawberry jam. great combo I would never have tried together, but was amazing! I will return to mercado 60, but above all poncho and chel’s!

This was our first stop for a meal on a recent trip to merida. with the loud music that sounds on the street, we entered excellently, as it was highly recommended. once fucked in the garden under the stars we enjoyed a delicious peaceful meal. at the end of the evening the manager waited until we were loaded in a taxi to come back to casa ana’s bnb.

Visited Mercado and decided to try food here. I tried appetizers and the brisket. Everything was outstanding. My favorite was the empanadas. They are filled with cheese and spinach. Served with a dipping sauce that seemed to be strawberry jam. Great combo I...would have never tried together but was amazing! I will ne returning to Mercado but especially Poncho and Chel's!
