Salamanca Grill - Mérida

For years I have raided over salamanca grill, I have sent many of my restaurant review readers to try them, I told them that salamanca grill had the best steaks in merida, and with great excitement, we stopped by because I had a...juicy ribeye steak, but when our steaks arrived, I was very disappointed, this ort seemed to have their quality. first my steak and my wife were boiled over, dry and frozen. the flesh was very hard. they give you only a small amount of steak fries, and the grilled tweeled was boiled. we were very disappointed, this time I'm sure they changed their meat supplier. here are two photos, one was from now on, and the juicy ribeye is from 2013 they don't waste their time, go to the la playa restaurant in chelem for a fantastic juicy ribeye and ask for chef carlos. 1. photo is from this week 2. photo is from 2013 chef bob lissandrello yucatan eat critic

Whatever they do in salamanca, they do it. Probably the best tuna steak I've ever had. the meal was almost more than I could eat and I can eat. thanks for the great evening. the live music was great. we'll be back.

Our Merida friends took us to a restaurant in the north of the city away from Centro in a little strip mall. Salamanca Grill was very similar to what you'd find in the states but that it had a separate glassed in enclosure for smokers...(they do, we don't). We were served good drinks and botanas (try the mushrooms) before our meal. There was a variety of steaks to choose from but all are excellent. There are two or three of these restaurants now open and all have the same quality. Delicious. Also great service.

Le puse calificación regular porque en mi ultima visita (y soy asidua al lugar por muchos años) eramos 4 personas y 2 de nosotros pedimos carne y no tenian nuestro corte, okey, pedimos otra opción y TAMPOCO la tenian!!!, decidimos entonces cancelar las 2 ordenes que si pidieron mis otros 2 compañeros y comimos en otro lado.Recomiendo el Vacio con corte mariposa que es mi favorito, acompañado con guacamole y un queso derretido con fresas para compartir , lo acompaño igual con alguna cerveza+michelada. Excelente lugar para reunion de negocios, amigos y familia.

Este restaurante es un lugar pequeño sin embargo la calidad de la carne, el servicio y los precios son muy buenos.Puedes hacer una reunión informal de trabajo para ir a comer y tomar una cerveza o puedes ir por el simple antojo de comer carne. Como no es un restaurante grande ni muy formal, te atienden bastante rápido y eso es un gran beneficio especialmente cuando llegas con mucha hambre.
