Porterhouse steak was delicious. This place is epic and one of the more important restaurants around here. Can’t wait to come back for a 3rd time.
To be honest, I was expecting a tourist trap. I was wrong! Buckhorn exchange was not only fun and interesting, but the food was delicious and well worth the price. We shared a steak for two, which came with a side, a soup, vegetables and two sauces. We also tried Rocky Mountain “Oysters” and fried Alligator. Everything was great! The cocktails were also very delicious.I’d definitely recommend walking around and viewing the artifacts and taxidermy as well.Wheelchair accessibility: The staff were very accommodating and put out a wheelchair ramp
One of those iconic restaurants that you look for in a new area that the locals go to.
The bison prime rib is probably the best steak I have had in the last year, and I have been to a few high-end steak houses in that time. Our server was knowledgeable and really great. The place has a lot of history and character. Drove an hour based on recommendations by family. Next time I am in Denver, I will be stopping by.
