Not a fan of the wings themselves here.... sauces were .... ok. But man, that crush bomb wing will make the mouths of your ancestors burn!! probably the hottest wing we've ever eaten.... 15 minutes later, i can still feel the burn. If you like melt your face off hot try the crush bomb! I only gave three stars because the food was just ok. The vibe was cool, so that added a star..... maybe a good place to hang with friends.... but don't come if you want traditional wings.
We're so happy to have Crush Wing and Tap in the neighborhood. We would drive from Central Park to the Highlands before to get these delicious wings. You can't go wrong with their smoked, grilled wings. Highly suggest the buffalo green chili, buffalo, and buffalo bbq.
Support local! This place is such a gem in an up and coming area of Denver. I genuinely anticipate my next visit eagerly. Wings, pizza, LOADED FRIES! There's nothing bad on the menu. Seriously. What an amazing concept with even better execution.
Tl;dr: These may well be the best wings I 've had in my life. These days, it 's not rare to see wings up at $1.50, $2 a piece. Usually I leave disappointed at the value, even if the prices are relatively out of the locations ' controls. This place is right across the street from one of my favorite restaurants in Denver, so I decided to hop in tonight. Ordered 12 wings, half hot buffalo, half their Crush Bomb top hot sauce. $19.50, makes for about $1.63 per wing. That 's well in the realm of normal these days. What wasn 't in the realm of normal was that it also included a side of absolutely killer waffle fries, and that the wings were giant meaty wings. The wings are also not your normal freezer to fryer fare, not that there 's anything wrong with freezer to fryer. On the hot buffalo, you could definitely taste the brine, wood smoke, and grill process. The Crush Bomb covered up those flavor intricacies, but was a great sauce in its own right. Most of the serious heat seems to come from a dry rub that goes above the sweet and spicy sauce. This lets you really get the fruitiness of the sauce before the capsaicin starts to hit.Server Jack behind the bar was super cool, very friendly, made me feel welcome, and kept my coke topped off regularly.I will be back here. A lot. It 's good. Get it.
Please change your bathrooms to one mens and the other women's. You didn't make any changes in the design of the bathrooms since it was the Elm, so why does one bathroom have two urinals and the other nothing but stalls. I was using the urinal and a group of female children walked in. That is not appropriate!
