Ellyngton's - Meridian Station

Very bar service from our waiter, and food came on different times, not what it used to be.

Wonderful. Our experience was great in every way. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food selection for the Mother’s Day brunch was terrific. Made to order omelets were a nice option. The deserts were marvelous! Definitely worth a return trip!

We went for the Mother 's Day brunch buffet and left very disappointed. The room, with new furniture we were told, looked like a diner with no effort put in to actually decorate the space. Everything was white and almost sterile looking. My party was sat near a tower of dish and cups racks for the dish pit, not at all what I expected ambiance wise from the Brown Palace. The food was mediocre at best, and while we were told that the brunch menu included a seafood tower with crab claws, shrimp and more, there was almost no seafood offered at all. The seafood selection consisted of some poorly made sushi and oysters on the halfshell. When we asked about the other seafood we were told that they stopped that a couple of brunches ago . The reputation of the Brown Palace brunch buffet far surpasses what the actual experience is. For the price point, we expected so much more.

Ellington’s is not what it used to be not even close. The Mother’s Day brunch was disappointing in both food quality and ambience.

Our Waitress, Josue, was outstanding and made our Mothers Day Brunch so much fun. It makes such a big difference when you have someone so pleasant and goes over and beyond.
