I 've eaten here more than ten times. Mostly to meet friends... The food is good and the concept is cool. The hype kinda tarnishes everything. Like any popular spot, it 's populated by buttsniffers, and you can 't help but to have an incredibly high bar set in your mind. The food is above average. It 's worth checking out, absolutely, but kinda yuppy/gimmicky/ trendy for my liking.
Overall a great spot. Very interesting atmosphere with a view of the chefs preparing the food. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had. We were confused on the menu as it was not apparent on what was an appetizer and what was an entre. We realized it was tapas style after overhearing another waitress. I don’t think our waitress should have had to say it and we didn’t ask but maybe print it on the menus. Now the food itself was very delicious. It seems like you cannot go wrong ordering anything and they are very accommodating if allergies. This place also isn’t cheap so be forewarned.
Service was stretched a little thin. My wife had planned to order another drink but never had the opportunity. We consciously ordered our entrees with the appetizers because we already sensed we could be waiting to see our server again. The food was very good. Highly recommend the Bao Bun trio. The atmosphere was engaging and appealing, the service was pretty meh.
We were expecting it to be more of a mortuary setting and the Menu to be exactly what the website said it was going to be, however, when we got there, there was no sign of a mortuary in sight and the menu is completely changed. It was totally overpriced. Complete let down.
