Not just any Ted 's, this Ted 's. Back then, it was fantastic. A high end steak house that catered to the business crowd and taught me that grass fed really is different than regular beef. Now, unfortunately, it is just plain garbage.I 'd like to give props to our server, Chase, because he was fantastic. Chase, if you see this, run far, far away. You are worth more than this. While the service was impeccable, the food was an absolute disaster. My husband was served onion rings that were so burned, they were a dark brown and tasted of char. I had a salad that was, at best, a grocery store bagged salad mix with avocado and cheddar on top, with salmon. The salmon was served raw. I 'm talking sushi level raw (see photo). My husband, who in ten years of being together I have never seen send something back, insisted on saying something because it was a $20 salad. He told our server, who again, we loved, that my wife 's salmon is a bit undercooked , and chase rushed it to the kitchen to be re-cooked. When it returned ten minutes later it had clearly been seared, but the inside was still raw (pictures attached). This place, having always been one of my favorites, has taken a serious downturn. I feel bad for their fabulous waitstaff for having to deal with the backlash the kitchen must surely be dealing them. We spent over $100 on this dinner, and it wasn 't just disappointing, it was unsafe. If I had eaten the fish, I surely would have gotten food poisoning. I feel robbed for having spent the money on something so unarguably atrocious, but also feel the need to congratulate them for their victory over the San Dimas Applebees as the worst meal of all time.
This was my birthday dinner and the first time ordering at this location. I’ve eaten in the past at the Briargate location. The staff at this Larimer location were the best, at least the guy who handled my order. The guy who took my order, prepped it, made sure everything was there, all my condiments, everything I asked for (including homemade pickles), was outstanding and very friendly and nice. My baked potato was delicious. My steak was good, a little greasy, a little salty, and not tough but not that tender. The salmon (7 ounce) my son ordered was not thoroughly cooked. You could tell it was partly raw in the middle. You could tell it was cooked, but not cooked long enough. Some people may like it that way. We assumed the salmon would be cooked thoroughly. His sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli were good, although the brown gravy was on salty side. The homemade pickles were a little salty. My side salad was spring lettuce and okay. The price was decent in comparison to other steak places. This location has street parking.
Great service by Claudius, Great food. We really enjoyed a sit down booth at this restaurant. Perfect way to end our time in Colorado!
Jesse was our waiter he, was so knowledgeable. We were there before six this evening and he gave us the best advice. I had the Delmonico stake with bone and my husband had the short ribs. The food was on point.
I came for the bison and it was delicious! The restaurant's atmosphere was upscale casual. I ordered the Bison Short Ribs with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Parmesan Broccoli. The ribs fell off the bone! No knife needed! Definitely, get the rib gravy on the mashed potatoes! Other than the broccoli being a tad bit on the lukewarm side (versus hot), my meal was very, very good.
