Timberline Steaks Grille

Eggs-perfect, potatoes-good, steak- disappointing, so disappointing. Good, strong coffee. Great view.

This is what $8 of steak looks like on the Ceasar salad. Will not order it again, will try other airport options before coming back here

We only wanted drinks the host didn’t let us bring our food in. But then the bartender, Mike, intercepted let us pass with impeccable service. He even filled up my water bottle for me with ice!

The power bowl was truly wonderful. The sauce on the kale is delicious and I surprisingly really enjoyed the quinoa. The bowl had smoky broccoli in it that I could have done without, but honestly everything else was so good in the bowl that the mediocre broccoli was fine. I hope this becomes part of the regular menu so I can come back and get it regularly. The house salad was huge and had nice fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and veggies. Dr. Pepper on the menu too! One detractor and why I would actually give this place a 4.5 if I could, the floor was a bit grimy, the tables seemed to be a bit slow in being turned over/cleared and the overall atmosphere was very fast casual despite having a $55 steak on the menu. Seemed to have out of place decor for the food. Not the worst problem to have. The service was quick and friendly.

It was a Tuesday and I was 8n Southern California during the atmospheric rivers that flooded the state. I was desparately trying to fly back to Wisconsin for family birthdays. I was detoured from Las Vegas to Denver, where I had a 5 AM departure. I decided to stay at the airport so I would not miss the flight. I was tired, discouraged and hangry as I searched for a place to eat. I came upon Timberline Steaks about 1/2 before closing. Sean, Neto and Leah greeted me with a smile, not that oh no, it is right before closing stare that you usually get under the circumstances. I asked for recommendations and placed my order. And their suggestions were spot on. The food was hot and was delicious. They made sure that my glass was filled and did not hustle me out the door. I watched as they cleaned up the bar and it was spit shined and polished. The bottles were beautifully displayed, and the counters and bar top shined. When I left, the place was clean, well presented and appealing. All in all, the exerience was exactly what I needed. They were friendly but not intrusive, and I left this restaurant better prepared to sleep in the most uncomfortable chairs this side of the Mississippi. Well done, Sean, Neto and Leah!
