When I got home, I realized there was no cheese, which really disappointed me. I was hungry, so I ended up eating some of the chicken, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. Maybe next time I'll have the chance to dine in, and hopefully the experience will be better.
The waitress seemed to overlook me and only interacted with my husband. The chips and salsa were not up to standard this time. My order was incorrect. Usually, the food is great there, and I understand that mistakes can happen.
I want to start by saying that this restaurant is truly beautiful, both inside and out. We were seated right away, which was nice. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, we were specifically looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. My son ordered a burrito, while my husband and I chose beef and chicken tacos. When the food arrived, I was quite disappointed. Traditional Mexican tacos are typically filled with meat, onions, and cilantro, served with a lime on the side, but what we received were more like American-style tacos with salad and cheese, which is really not authentic. My son's burrito was basically an enchilada, rather than a true burrito; traditional burritos contain meat, rice, and refried beans, all rolled up with the ends tucked in. Our waiter never checked on us, although there were call buttons available if we needed our check. Overall, the food wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. If you're looking for American-style Mexican food, this might work for you. However, if you are like me and crave traditional Mexican cuisine, you might want to look elsewhere.
Great customer service I was just there for a doordash pickup
This probably has to be the worst Hispanic restaurant I have been to. Our waiter has been extremely rude and has been rolling his eyes and even commented ?****? because he brought out the nachos I order without any cheese. When I asked about it he responded saying that it only gets shredded cheese which was still not hardly enough to even count. My fiancé was suppose to have cheese on her chicken pollo felice and when asked he said it is in the rice. That it just soaked up the cheese. We ordered street corn, paid 6$ for it and literally got a plate of corn with a couple cheese crumbles on top. No white sauce no seasoning, literally just paid 6$ for a can of corn. Our server was a guy with half his head shaved and the other half long. On a positive note the place is clean as well as the bathrooms, but the service and food was not good at all. Stick with Los Trojas right up the road! Wish I got a picture of the rest but we didn?t even eat all of our food.
