Campanile - Mérignac

While stating in Merignac visited this restaurant ,good value and very good French food ,very tasty , staff very pleasant ,drinks a bit pricey ,but there again you are in France

Very good choice of food and pleasant service. Very reasonable. Good bar and outside eating area. Area to watch people playing boules.

The Restaurant is large and modern and has extensive outdoor eating terrace space. It follows the normal Campanile format with buffet style starters and desserts but, when I stayed, most of the Dishes of the Day were also self service from a Hotplate area. I arrived late in the evening but the available choices were still extensive. The buffet starter choice was more varied than the normal on offer, as was the dessert. Service was very good and efficient. Probably the best Campanile restaurant that I have used so far.
