Zaffiro Italian - MERIMBULA

Not only the food was exceptional, but also the kindness of the guy who attended us and gave us advice to visit the area. The place is also very well decorated and the atmosphere is excellent!

Wow what a great meal, in an authentic and friendly place. I had the beef cheek gnocchi which was rich in flavour with soft and velvety gnocchi. Strongly recommend booking as the place was full. I just txt the number on the website which was responded to out of hours.

I came across this place when researching dinner options that would accommodate kids and adults alike. We gave it a go and fell in love straight away with Zaffiro: Tucked away in a laneway, we found immediately that staff were attentive and genuinely caring about their guests, no matter the age. This would not change a bit when it got busier. And the food! According to my 6yo, the chicken nuggets and chips were the best EVER , my son hasn't stopped talking about the pizza since and I'm in a delicious food coma of olives, sardines, focaccia and parmesan. The serves were generous and reasonably priced. Would recommend Zaffiro in a heartbeat and will certainly be back next time we're in the area!
