The first time here it was great! The Pommes were amazing, best I ever had. I also had a turkey sandwich that was so tender and juicy, melted in the mouth delicious.

I have the meaning of 1970 or 71 that the BEST SAUCE has. We went there on discount ribs Wednesday this is my idea of the perfect BBQ place, oh the big hairdress and side of the pickles. I need BBQ!

It's gone. If you go there now, you can buy a gun, but no BBQ. My goal is to eat at all the BBQ joints in KC. The theory is if they've been in business in KC for more than a couple of years, it's so competitive, they must be doing something right. I stumbled upon this joint and it's where I had the conscious thought to try all the BBQ joints near me. The first time I went I had something, and really enjoyed it, it might have been ribs. The second time I went, we were headed to a competitor on the Plaza, but when we saw the line decided to go elsewhere. We had the half slab and half a chicken. My wife really liked the chicken and we both liked the ribs. The fact we walked right in and ordered was great also. It's a joint, the employees were really friendly both times. I had the creamed corn and it was very good. I think we tried the beans and they were good. I can't find the receipt or I'd tell you about the price. It's down by the boulevard drive in. I think these guys would do a better business, but to get there, ya gotta pass other very good to excellent BBQ joints. The big advantage here is walk in and get your food. No waiting either time I went. Sometimes that makes a difference. I'll be back.
