The meal was exquisite, paired with a fantastic wine selection and served by knowledgeable staff. Overall, the entire experience was outstanding!
The dining room has an incredible ambiance! The light installation by Jan Flook is stunning, and the delicious food and wine only added to the experience. We opted for the tasting menu with paired wines and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended!
I had high hopes when booking a table for my party of 6, but unfortunately I was left disappointed. Despite it being a beautiful day, the curtains on all the windows made the restaurant feel somewhat gloomy. I can only imagine that the atmosphere would be completely different at night. It's often the restaurants with little hype that turn out to be the best. I probably wouldn't choose to dine at the restaurant again, but I would opt for the café instead and enjoy the gorgeous views. Strangely, the best views in the restaurant are from the restroom. It's a shame.
Couldn’t fault doot doot doot....we celebrated my husbands 60th birthday with family...we chose to have the accompanying wine with our meal and they were perfectly matched by the sommelier....loved the ceiling...fitted out with 10,000 lights which apparently took 6 weeks to install..
My husband and I dined at Doot Doot Doot with my brother and my sister-in-law as a birthday treat for my husband. The degustation dinner was exceptional. I was the designated driver for the evening and as such I was delighted that a different alcohol-free drink had been thoughtfully designed to match each course. The other three thoroughly enjoyed the different wines paired to each course. The approach with wines is to support small wineries, and so instead of rolling out familiar labels, we got a world tour of interesting wines, each carefully matched to the flavour profile of the course. Service was very good, but some in our party noted that we had a high number of staff attending us, making it difficult to develop rapport with 'our ' server. A great night for this bunch of foodies and wine lovers.
