Sunday lunch in November with a companion. What an amazingly beautiful experience I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We had a bottle of wine plus an assortment of tasting plates including a potato and cheese concoction, duck tagine and goats cheese. Everything was delicious and interesting with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Very friendly service, an amazing view and reasonable prices.<br/ <br/ Score out of 5:<br/ Food: 0.9<br/ Drink: 0.9<br/ Service: 0.9<br/ Ambiance: 0.9<br/ Price: 0.8 <br/ <br/ 4.4 rounds up to 4.5.
Lovely to sit under the trees with our dogs, enjoy an excellent coffee and a delicious glass of Pinot noir and a nice snack plate. Lovely dessert of passion fruit tart with fresh cream and another of deconstructed tiramisu ... only complaint is vegetarian options are limited.
Small snack style meals. We ordered a bit of everything for lunch and the quality was amazing. The smoked salmon terrine was a welcome surprise as it was my first time having a terrine but the cheese and salmon was a delicous combination. The other dishes, such as the goats curd with ciabatta and grilled tomatoes was so amazing, the tomatoes just popped in your mouth and the crunchy, salty ciabatta with the creamy goats curd was a match made in heaven. For dessert we had the deconstructed tiramisu, which was a bit overpowering for some but for those who like a very strong liquor-coffee taste (which my mum does), this would be the dessert for you. The white chocolate mousse with fresh passionfruit was one of my highlight dishes, the white chocolate was fluffy and melted in my mouth, not too sweet either. We were also blown away by the friendliness and amazing service of the staff, who were both efficient and conversational. A wonderful experience.
