Contribuisci feedbackThe food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The seasonal buttermilk chicken is like a dream come true. And don't even get me started on the desserts - specifically the maple bread pudding with ice cream. It's heavenly.
The food and service exceeded our expectations at this restaurant. We loved the atmosphere and found it to be a great place to bring the family for dinner.
My husband and I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time, and we have to say... This place is Merrimac's best kept secret! My husband ordered the grilled New York Sirloin with Forestberry Chipotle rub, paprika, mushrooms, onions, cooked to a perfect medium, and he was very pleased with his meal. The steak was cooked perfectly, the asparagus was tender, and the potatoes were roasted to perfection. I opted for the pan-seared beef medallions with Danish blue cheese, roasted carrots, and Merlot glaze. The dish was served with garlic and herb roasted red potatoes and roasted carrots, and everything was cooked to a perfect medium. The combination of blue cheese and glaze was a flavor explosion! The potatoes and carrots were delicious as well. We also shared a slice of their house-made Devil's Food cake, which was just as delicious as the main course. The cake was moist, flavorful, and the frosting was to die for! One of the highlights of this restaurant is its unique setting in a former bank, complete with a drive-up window that is still used for take-out orders. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and the option for take-out make this place a winner in our book. We will definitely be returning!
The Rhythm Cafe has great food and you are sure you are going to the locals there. There Sausage Penne is a great favorite.
You will finish any plate you purchase. The food is great for curbside, one of the best
