The Old Schoolhouse Special Events

The venue features a charming bridal suite where my husband and I spent the night, as well as a large renovated barn available for additional guest accommodations. My family rented the barn, which was wonderful and only a short walk from the main venue. The Old School House is uniquely historic, and we received countless compliments from our guests on our choice of such a special place to get married. Kristin and her team set up the venue exactly as we envisioned and even planted flowers and refreshed the landscaping just for our big day—it was beautiful. There is a designated room downstairs for the ladies to prepare, and the red caboose outside served as a fun space for the guys. Our guests enjoyed exploring the property and discovering the many charming spots it offers. There’s also a small game room and a playset for the kids, which was a hit. We even arranged for late-night pizzas for our guests, which were made on-site by the staff and were absolutely delicious! The bar was fully stocked, and the bartenders worked tirelessly to serve everyone. Additionally, Devil's Head Resort is conveniently located just down the road for guests who needed accommodations. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for your next event—you will not be disappointed!

The location is stunning and perfect for weddings, family reunions, and graduation parties. The owner was outstanding!

I attended a wedding reception at this beautiful and unique venue. However, it may not be the best choice for a dancing party.

My son and his wife had their wedding and rehearsal dinner there. They had done an awesome job! The staff was a lot of fun and did a great job! Definitely recommend them for wedding’s and food. The rehearsal dinner was great!
