Friendly's - Merrimack

A refreshing cold Fribble is the perfect way to cool down after a warm day. I've ordered food from Friendly's before, and I've come to appreciate that their true highlight lies in their ice cream and shakes.

The turkey dinner was extremely salty.the waitress said she would let the kitchen know, but nothing was done about my meal. The ice was excellent!

We have breakfast here above all. The server is wonderful and remembers what we like to drink in the morning. The lumberjack with pancakes is my favorite. It's a great value! My wife and I love the background music they play here. It is from our school years and always lets us share stories from our past while we eat.

The food was decent, but the service could definitely be improved. I've been a regular at Friendly's for years, so I have a good sense of what to expect from the menu, which is generally quite good. However, we had to wait over 20 minutes for our meals to arrive. We had also specifically requested a table away from others for COVID safety reasons since we're being extra careful, but we were seated almost shoulder-to-shoulder with other patrons. If it was due to table availability, I understand, but there were other vacant tables nearby that would have allowed for more space. It would have been nice to be seated there instead.

The food was delicious, the iced drinks were excellent, and our server was wonderful! She was attentive and friendly, suggesting some ways to customize our order to better suit our tastes. Overall, it was a surprisingly delightful experience!
