Macayo's Mexican Food - Mesa

Our server, Ray, was attentive, polite, and well-informed. The food was served in a timely manner and was very good. The chips and salsa were also excellent. The prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend Macayo's.

I don't mean to be overly critical, but I ordered the cheese enchiladas and unfortunately, the cheese wasn't melted. However, the cheese crisp, chips, and salsa were really good. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the outdoor patio is great. As for accessibility, the restaurant has wide spaces for walkers and wheelchairs, along with a flat and spacious entrance.

The food was amazing! I typically stick to my usual order, but this time I tried the Chicken Poblano, and it was fantastic.

We went on Sunday afternoons for lunch. It was a special occasion for us because my mother in law was in town. I got the chicken chimichanga! Delicious! A little bit spicy, but so flavorful. And i had the fried ice cream for dessert. Amazing. That one took me to my happy place. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We love Macayo's. We have eaten at two different locations (one in Mesa on Superstition Springs Blvd and the second location at Litchfield Park) The food is delicious, the service is fabulous and it is always a wonderful treat to stop in and visit with the staff. Thank you for your excellent service and consistency of your foods. Your level of excellence always makes me want to come back.
