Manila Sunrise Sari-sari Store - Mesa

Ano ba! We drove from Phoenix to the sari sari store that stated they open at 10am. We arrived at 10:20am on a Tuesday and they were closed. We called the cell and store numbers. A woman said someone was on their way and we waited 15 min until we realized they weren't coming. Instead we checked out another Filipino store. I'm sad that our own kababayans run a business like this. So embarrassing to Filipinos. If business hours are not kept, they should be updated. Doesn't matter if you have to go the bank. Take care of that before opening or have someone cover the store so you don't lose business. Big mistake.

Time advertised is not followed. it was closed when we arrived at the store when it was advertised to be open

I'm new in Town and Charmel made me feel welcome! Picked up all the Filipino food I used to eat back home here and now I feel at home! Thank you. -JP

We drove for an hour only to find that although the signs indicated they were open, all the doors were locked. It ended up being a waste of time, and it doesn't seem like they have much to offer anyway.

The staff was very friendly. Although the place is quite small, it had everything we needed.
